Vonda M. Hollingsworth, 76, of Fairview, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1933, in Cache, Okla., daughter of Haskell Adkins and Retha (Brandstatt) Adkins. She graduated from high school in Guymon, Okla., and on Oct. 6, 1956, she married Melvin McNee. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1980.

She lived in and around the Fairview and Wheaton area for 40 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include: one son, Mark McNee and his wife, Pam, of Fairview; two daughters, Nancy Hart and her husband, Brian, of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Lurl Banks and her husband, Alvin, of Guymon, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Alma Bromlow, of Fairview, Betty Price, of Fort Smith, Ark., Loyce Deane, of Rogers, Ark., and Joyce Weisert, of Blackduck, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Fred Adkins, and one great-granddaughter.

The family received friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Cassville. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, with Pastor Joe Wogoman officiating.
