Larry W. Bolton, 70, of Cassville, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at his home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1939, in Cassville, the son of Stephen Douglas and Myrtle Irene (Richardson) Bolton. In 1959, he married Patsy Parker and to this union four sons were born. On Nov. 25, 1981, in Cassville, he married Cora "Ann" Mills, who survives.
Additional survivors include: four sons, Larry D. Bolton and his wife, Victoria, of Monett, Bob L. Bolton, of Rogers, Ark., James D. Bolton, of Tulsa, Okla., and Sonny Mills, of Forsyth; two brothers, Johnny Bolton and his wife, Mary Lou, of Cassville, and Ted Bolton and his wife, Fran, of Cassville; three sisters, Beulah Terry, of Butterfield, Hazel Harvey and her husband, Jerry, of Rocky Comfort, and Mary Ann Horner and her husband, Pat, of Cassville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Stephen Douglas Bolton; his mother, Myrtle Irene Bolton Gentry; his stepfather, Albert Gentry; one son, Billy W. Bolton; twin sisters, Iona Faye and Lona Maye Bolton; and a half-brother, Steve Bolton.
He grew up and received his education in Cassville. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a life-long resident of Cassville and had been employed in the small parts department at EFCO in Monett several years.
He attended the Assembly of God Church in Cassville, where funeral services were held today (Wednesday) under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Robert Day conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
