Nancy C. Craig, 76, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Cassville, the daughter of Leo and Charlene (Burke) Hutton. On June 5, 1955, she was united in marriage to Glen Craig, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, David Craig and his wife, Rhonda, of Cassville; one sister, Jane Kivett, of Hollister; and three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were: her parents; her "Granny" Jennie Burke, who raised her; stepmother, Dorothy Hutton; one son, Mark at 18 months of age; and one brother, WJ Hutton.

She received her education in Cassville, graduating from Cassville High School with the Class of 1952. She then received her nurse's training at Springfield Baptist Hospital and became a registered nurse and continued with her education to receive her BS degree in nursing. She began her nursing career in 1955, working for Dr. Purvis and then Dr. Mary and retired from Barry County Health Department. Nancy was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was a life-time member. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cassville.

Funeral services were held Sunday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Brother Bob Neeley conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
