Carl Wayne Lacy, 78, of Shell Knob, passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in Skaggs Regional Medical Center, Branson.

He was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Trinway, Ohio, the son of Carl Kenneth and Ora Mae (Severns) Lacy. In 1954, he was united in marriage to Wilma Creel and to this union two daughters were born.

In 1973, he married Georgia Wilson, and he later was married to Linda Godana.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kim Brungardt and her husband, Troy, of Granbury, Texas; two sisters, JoAnn Howard and Marcena Foster, of Ohio; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were a daughter, Sabrina Conley, and one brother, Larry Lacy.

He grew up and received his education in Ohio, graduating in Coshocton, Ohio, from Conesville High School with the Class of 1949. From 1951to 1954, he served in the U S. Air Force teaching airplane mechanics. For several years he resided in Texas, working for Southland Funeral Home in Grand Prairie as a funeral director and also sold funeral security plans. He was a strong Christian and a faithful member of Shell Knob First Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Bob Gaddis will conduct the services.
