Della Mae Stehlik, 82, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away September 19, 2010, at Neighborhoods at Quail Creek in Springfield.

She was born September 9, 1928, the only daughter of Lillard and Eva Jones. She grew up in Everton, Missouri. In 1948, she was united in marriage to Herschel Stehlik, who survives.

She is also survived by: two children, Corles Stehlik and wife, Valerie, of Cassville, and Brenda Cardin and husband, Tom, of Nixa; six grandchildren, Brian Stehlik, Dala Blisard, Chad Samuel and wife, Jennifer, Brice Stehlik and wife, Lurena, Eli Stehlik, and Kelly Wilson and husband, Tyler; and 10 great-grandchildren, Bo, Carlie, Cody, Brady, Sydney, Wyatt, Jozi, Haydn, Easton and Avery.

Della and Herschel moved to Cassville in 1958. They opened and operated Barry County Lumber until 1994. Della was a member of First Christian Church in Cassville, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was church treasurer for many years. Her life was focused on her faith and family. "Grammy" left a legacy of love to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) September 22, 2010, in Cassville First Christian Church, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Bert Ward and Minister Tom Thomas conducted the services. Burial was at in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
