Diana Marie Hilburn Gordon, 61, of Moon Township, Penn., passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, of complications from cancer. Huntsman Funeral Home of Moon Township. Penn., is handling arrangements.

She was born in Cassville on March 30, 1949, to Herman and Mabel Hilburn. She attended elementary schools in Oklahoma. She graduated from Cassville High School in 1967, attended The School of the Ozarks in Hollister, Sorbonne University in Paris and received her certificate to teach foreign language from University of Missouri at Kansas City. She was married for a period to Walter Gordon, of Kansas City. She lived and worked in Europe for a short period and lived and worked, primarily, in the Kansas City, Mo., Miami, Fla., and Pittsburgh, Penn., areas.

Survivors include: mother Mabel (Taylor) Hilburn, of Exeter; her brother, Larry Hilburn, of Exeter; her sister, Lana Turner, of Cassville; and her brothers, Lynn Hilburn, of Arlington, Texas, and Roger Hilburn, of Branson.

There will be a memorial service held in Cassville at Blessing Heights Worship Center at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
