RUBY FRANCES PITTS

Ruby F. Pitts, 87, of Lynnwood, Wash., passed away Aug. 4, 2010. She was born on Jan. 13, 1923, in Jenkins. She lived in Wichita, Kan., for 18 years, moving to Washington state in 1968.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, active in many church activities, and was church secretary at the Mountlake Terrace Church of Christ.

Survivors include: her husband of 63 years, James Pitts; and one son, Mark Pitts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Myrtle (Williams) Thomas; son, Craig; and brothers and sisters, Aubrey Thomas, Fenton Thomas, Leta Chastain and Doyle Thomas.

A memorial service was held Aug. 14 at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood, Wash.
