Barry County detective recovers stolen property

Property from two separate church burglaries has been recovered following an investigation by detectives with the Barry County Sheriff's Department.

Detective Brian Landreth reported that musical equipment stolen from Chapel of Grace Church and Faith Church, both located near Monett, was recovered Thursday, Aug. 5.

Both churches were burglarized in the late evening or early morning hours of July 20 and 21.

No arrests have been made in the incident.
