Amanda Alice Cooper, 84, passed away on July 13, 2010. She was the daughter of C. R. Bob and Luda (Corn) Sapp. She was born June 25, 1926, outside of Exeter. On March 31, 1946, she married Vannis J. Cooper who survives.

Additional survivors include: three sons and their spouses, Larry and Donita Cooper, of Whitsett, N.C.Danny and Debby Cooper, of Mt. Ida, Ark., and Steve and Gayla Cooper, of Overland Park, Kan.; five grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and three sisters, Lucille Williams and Betty Thomas, of Cassville, and Barbara Mitchell, of Springfield. She is also survived by her unofficial adopted daughter and son, Mary Lou and Earl Adams, of Cassville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Troy and L. E. Sapp, and two sisters, Helen Sapp and Ruth Brendlinger.

She worked 29 years for the North Little Rock Electric Department from 1962 to 1991. She was a member of the Cassville First Baptist Church -- North Point.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. James Weaver conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
