Robert, "Bob" Dick, 67, of Brookings, Ore., passed away on June 18, 2010, at River Bend Hospital as a result of a broken neck. He was born Nov. 30, 1942, the son of Rube and Esther (anderson) Dick in Golden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two older sisters, Belva and Jewell.
Survivors include: two sisters, Verla Dell, of Las Vegas and Shelby Butts, of Berryville, Ark.; a brother, Lee Dick, of Florence, Ore.; two daughters, Sheila and Tina, of Wisconsin; three step-children, tammy Woosley, of Eagle Rock, and Matt Woosley, of Twisp, Wash., and Tyler Woosley, of Florence, Ore.; and 10 grandchildren.
His profession was a back-hoe operator and he had worked in Wisconsin, Missouri, Alaska, Washington, Oregon and California.
A Celebration of Life was held on June 27 on a gravel bar.
