Judith Marilyn Stednitz, 70, of Cassville, passed away at her home Tuesday, June 29, 2010.

She was born in Omaha, Neb., on Oct. 4, 1939, the daughter of William H. and Verna L. (Hansen) Myers. On Nov. 8, 1963, in Papillion, Neb., she was united in marriage to Billy Ray "Willie" Stednitz, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Michael Stednitz and his wife, Deborah, of Bellevue, Neb.; one daughter, Michelle Barber and her husband, Mark, of Bellevue, Neb.; one sister, Sally Hall; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, John and Dale, and one brother, Glen.

She grew up and received her education in Omaha, Neb. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Charles Lauderdale conducted the services. Burial was at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
