Zelma Evelena Francisco, 86, of Wheaton, was born April 6, 1924, to her parents, Mattie and Everett Cooper. She passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010.

She was united in marriage to Leroy Francisco, May 15, 1943, and to this union three children were born, Gene, Jerry and Susie.

Survivors include: her husband, Leroy Francisco, of the home; two sons, Gene Francisco and wife, Betty, of Purdy, and Jerry Francisco and wife, Karen, of Nixa; one daughter, Susie Bailey and husband, Carroll, of Goodman; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lovetta Stipp and husband, Charles, of Fairview, Maxine Brattin, of Wheaton, and Helen Riddle and husband, Bill, of Republic; and one brother, Bob Cooper and wife, Darelyn, of Wheaton.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mattie and Everett Cooper; one sister, Ina Lea Tucker; and one brother, Donald Cooper.

She was a life-long resident of Wheaton and a faithful member of Wheaton Southern Baptist Church. She was a woman of deep faith. She played piano for several different quartets in the area. For many years, she was the church pianist.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wheaton Southern Baptist Church, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort.
