Wanda Pauline (Burnette) Roller, 93, of Washburn, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett.

She was born on Sept. 30, 1916, daughter of Andrew Amos and Martha (Weathers) Burnette in Washburn. She was a lifelong resident of Washburn. She retired from Vasity Bristol Shoe Corporation in Monett, and also worked at the Mozark Chicken Plants of Cassville and Monett. She was a former member of the Mount Zion First Baptist Church in Washburn and a current member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville, where she was a member of the Triple LLL Club.

She married Fred Roller on June 4, 1938, in Mount Vernon. He preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1996.

Survivors include: three sons, Freddie Lee Roller and his wife, Lynna, of Springfield, Larry Russell Roller and his wife, Mary, and James Andrew Roller and his wife, Marilyn, all of Washburn; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Dale Roller; and four brothers, Lonnie Burnette, Frank Burnette, Harry Ottis "Curly" Burnette and Allen "Brook" Burnette; and two sisters, Verna Sparks and Betty Johnson.

Graveside services were held June 4, at the Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, with Pastor Jason Mackey officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements were under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville.
