Carl G. Sapp, 77, of Exeter, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010, in his home.
He was born July 25, 1932, in Exeter, the son of Troy and Opal (Cooper) Sapp. On Dec. 11, 1955, in Exeter, he was united in marriage to Eunice Daniel, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Tim Sapp and his wife, Billie, of Exeter; one daughter, Connie Gautney and her husband, Donnie, of Exeter; two sisters, Peggy Gentry and her husband, Mark, of Verona, and Roberta Henbest and her husband, Carl, of Cassville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
He received his education at Exeter, where he graduated from high school in 1950. During the Korean War, he was in the United States Army, serving from Dec. 2, 1952, until Nov. 23, 1954. For 64 years, he was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a cattle farmer.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Art Rogers and Virgil Beck conducted the services. Burial with military honors was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
