Alma Bernice Garrett, 59, of Cassville, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Sept. 5, 1950, in Monett, the daughter of Jesse and Blanche (Mackin) Lemons, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sisters, Letha Lemons, of Springfield, Wanda Butler and her husband, Ron, of Webb City, and Louise Sproul and her husband, Don, of Millville, Utah; and one brother, Carl Lemons and his wife, Rosalie, of Soda Springs, Idaho.

She received her education at Purdy, where she graduated from high school. She lived in Barry County for many years, living in Exeter, Purdy, Butterfield and had lived in Cassville since 1977. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Latter-Day Saints, Cassville, the 4-H Club and an honorary member of Boys Town.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Bishop Berlan Crouch will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
