Martha Sinclair, 82, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.
She was born Jan. 17, 1928, in Washburn, the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Jewel (Painter) Lewis. In January 1953, in Galena, she was united in marriage to Dean Muse, who preceded her in death. Later, she married Raymond Sinclair, who also preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were one brother, Ward Lewis; two sisters, Geneva Lewis and Roberta Driver; and a grandson.
Survivors include: one son, Larry Muse, of Cassville; one daughter, Arlene Muse, of Neosho; two brothers, Carl Lewis and his wife, Dimple, of Cassville, and Ezra Lewis and his wife, Mary, of Liberal, Kan.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She received her education in Cassville, where she graduated from high school. In 1961, she received her bachelor's degree at SMS in Springfield. Most of her life was spent as a school teacher in Barry County, retiring from the Southwest School District. She was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ, Cassville.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
There will be no visitation.
