Geneva Maria Owens, 77, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Oct. 1, 1932, in Taos, N.M., the daughter of Albert Carlton and Matilda (Baralla) Clark. On June 5, 1972, she was united in marriage to Truman Leon Owens, who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Michael Burt Clark; and a sister-in-law, Florence Clark.

Surviving is one brother, Steve Clark, of San Marcos, Texas.

She moved from Taos, N.M., to Seligman where she grew up. She and her husband owned and operated Owens Western Shop at Butterfield, which she continued to operate after his death. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cassville.

Graveside services were held Friday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Michael Landis conducted the services.
