Gertrude A. "Gert" Wilson, 90, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010, in Cox-Monett Hospital, Monett.

She was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Crown Point, Ind., the daughter of John and Clara (Franz) Wehner. On Oct. 25, 1950, she was united in marriage to Noah Wilson, who preceded her in death on March 22, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, John Wilson; and four sisters.

Survivors include: two daughters, Gaylene Koczur and her husband, Frank, of Schererville, Ind., and Tina Vogt and her husband, Virgil, of Cassville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was a beautician in her early years until becoming a homemaker in Hobart, Ind. She and Noah retired to the Mountain Home, Ark., area in 1973, eventually moving to Cassville in 1995. She was a member of the Lady Elks and United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Lee Porch will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
