Roger Dale Ellis, 53, of Seligman, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
He was born Oct. 31, 1956, in Bentonville, Ark., the son of James and Kathryn (Keene) Ellis. On June 29, 1996, in Eureka Springs, Ark., he was united in marriage to Judy Springfield, who survives.
Additional survivors include: his mother, Kathryn Ellis, of Washburn; one son, Paul Ellis and his wife, Amy, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; four daughters, Rachael Bishop and her husband, Charles, of Washburn, Sarah Baker and her husband, James, of Pea Ridge, Ark., Lori Sauls, of Gulfport, Miss., and Lisa Gloyd, of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister, Verna Lewis and her husband, James, of Washburn; one brother, Eddie Ellis and his wife, Pam, of Washburn; and 15 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his father, James Ellis.
He received his education at Washburn, where he graduated from high school. For 18 years, he was employed as a supervisor at Fasco. The last few years he had been employed as a service technician for Handley Heating and Air. He was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Washburn First Baptist Church. Rev. Glenn Erwin will conduct the services. Burial will in King Cemetery, Seligman.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Homes, Cassville.
