Mi Suk "Lynda" Purves, 63, of Cassville, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on May 5, 1946, in Puyo-Kun Chungnam-do, South Korea, daughter of Yon Tong Chong and Ok So (Kim) Chong. She immigrated to the United States in 1970 where she obtained her right of permanent immigrant status. On June 17, 2001, she was united in marriage to Gail Purves in Cassville. She worked at Fasco in Cassville for 25 years, until her retirement in 2004. She was an excellent seamstress and homemaker. She was very active in the Open Door Church in Rogers, Ark.

Survivors include: her husband, Gail Purves, of Cassville; one daughter, Rhonda Timmons, of Kansas City; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles David Harader.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at White Funeral Home, Cassville, with Rev. Gary Culp officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort.
