Harvey Dean Pendergraft, 76, of Washburn, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010, in his home.

He was born May 12, 1933, in Washburn, the son of Clovis "Bill" and Cleo (Stephens) Pendergraft. On Aug. 15, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark., he was united in marriage to Geraldine Wade, who survives.

Additional survivors include: three children, Wilma Epps and her husband, Larry, of Washburn, Shirley White and her husband, Kenny, of Cassville, and Bill Pendergraft and his wife, Kathy, of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Stephens, of Washburn; and one brother, Junior Pendergraft, of Washburn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glen.

He lived most of his life west of Washburn, where he operated a dozing business, making many life-long friends. He also had a dairy and broiler farm. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the OK Assembly of God Church for many years.

Funeral services were held Sunday at OK Assembly of God Church, Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Eugene Rose and Rev. Bob Burns conducted the services. Burial was at Roller Cemetery, Washburn.
