Stanley Glenn Miller, 90, of Shell Knob, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010, at Cox-South Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on Jan. 24, 1920, in Useful, Mo., son of John and Jewel (Branson) Miller. He served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Francis Blythe, who preceded him in death in 2002.
Stanley went to work for Western Waterproofing Company at the age of 18 as a laborer and retired from the same company as district sales manager.
Survivors include: one son, Mike Miller and his wife, Susie, of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Susie Hall and her husband, Mike, of Shell Knob, and Cheri Johnson and her husband, Scott, of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Steve Miller, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 16 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
