Barbara Sue "Bobbie" Moore, age 63, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010, in the home of her sister-in-law, Lee Smiley.
She was born March 5, 1947, in Shell Knob, Missouri, the daughter of Thomas L. Smiley, Sr. and Dona (Plummer) Smiley.
Surviving are her mother, Dona Smiley of Shell Knob; one sister, Pat Ratliff of Shell Knob; a sister-in-law, Lee Smiley of Shell Knob; numerous nieces and nephews and a special great-niece, Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents and two brothers, Leon Smiley and Thomas "Short" Smiley, Jr.
Bobbie, as most people knew her, received her education in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where she graduated from High School. She then graduated from Clinton, Iowa School of Cosmetology. Over thirty years ago she moved back to Shell Knob from Dallas, Texas, to make her home. For several years she had been employed as a medical records clerk for St. John's Hospital in Cassville.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 22, 2010, in Fields Cemetery, Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Bob Gaddis will conduct the services.
Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
