Kenneth A. Glaser Jr., passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010, at Lacoba Homes in Monett. He was born on Nov. 3, 1938. in Akron, Ohio, to Kenneth A. Glaser Sr. and Leona E. (Lee) Glaser.
After high school, he attended two years of college and then honorably served his country as a photographer for the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Brenda Ratley on Dec. 1, 1972, in Miami, Okla. Together they resided in Kansas City until moving to the Butterfield area to make their home 26 years ago. He served on the Butterfield Volunteer Fire Department for 19 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Glaser, of Butterfield; one son, Kenneth A. Glaser III, and his wife, Jennifer, of Overland Park, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the White Funeral Home in Cassville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Kansas.
