Billy "Alan" Booth, 69, of Exeter, passed away Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, in his home.

He was born Sept. 24, 1940, in Marlow, Okla., the son of William and Beatrice "Bea" (Parnell) Booth. On Dec. 31, 1976, in Purdy, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Starkey, who survives.

Additional survivors include: his mother, Bea Booth, of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Kim Durossette and her husband, Jesse, of Exeter, and Tiffany Miner, and her husband, Chuck, of Cassville; two sons, Eric Booth, of Exeter, and Randy Allen and his wife, Jennifer, of Fairview; one brother, Kerry Booth and his wife, Rea, of Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his father and an infant daughter.

He received his education in Oklahoma, graduating from Marlow High School. He graduated with honors from Vatterott Community College in Springfield. For several years he was employed as a heating and cooling installer for Ozark Air. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Exeter.

Memorial services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jerry Yarnall conducted the services.
