Ladycats defeat CJ 43-37

The Cassville Ladycats won a tough Big 8 battle on the road Monday night, defeating Carl Junction, 43-37.

"I was really proud of our team," said Cassville's Chris Shore. "We played four solid quarters. Carl Junction pressed us the entire game, and we ended up with only six turnovers."

Hannah Elkins paved the way with her 22 points, and Lindsey Turner hit a big shot with 1:30 remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Ladycats a 3-point lead.
