LINDA FAY BISHOP

Linda Fay Bishop, 65, of Cassville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at her home. She was born on March 23, 1944, in Marked Tree, Ark., daughter of Arther and Pearl (Hickson) Booher. She married Max Bishop on April 8, 1996, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 2009.

She was retired from Emerson Electric in Rogers, Ark., and Walmart Stores in Bentonville, Ark. She moved to the Barry County area over 30 years ago with her family.

Survivors include: two sons, Russell New, of Seligman, and Jeffery New, of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Lindalla Green, of Bentonville, Ark.; and several grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday at the Seligman Cemetery with Rev. Russell Bishop officiating.
