Ethlyn Louise Corn, 87, of Cassville, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, in her home.

She was born May 25, 1922, in Granby, the daughter of James Otto and Monty (Webb) Duncan. On May 2, 1942, she was united in marriage to Clifford Linton, who preceded her in death during World War II. On Aug. 10, 1950, she was united in marriage to Floyd Kenneth Corn, who preceded her in death on June 24, 2001. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a daughter, Sharon (Linton) Parrish.

Survivors include: two children, Gail Brown and her husband, Larry, of Monett, and Gary Corn and his wife, Renea, of Cassville; six grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.

She received her education at Wheaton, graduating with the Class of 1939. She was a devoted Christian and lived and worked in this area her entire life. She managed Kenneth's Sign Shop for her husband for many years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Cassville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Bro. Danny Heupel, Rev. Bob Neeley and Jason Brown conducted the services. Burial was at Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort.
