Phyllis Jean Rollins, 75, of Washburn, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, in St. John's Hospital, Cassville.

She was born Sept. 2, 1934, in Washburn, the daughter of Earl and Pearl (Day) Shipley. In 1952, she married Warren Ray Dalton, who preceded her in death in 1954. On May 25, 1966, in Covington, La., she was united in marriage to Aubrey Rollins, who preceded her in death on June 5, 2008. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.

Survivors include: two daughters, Judy Holt, of Seligman, and Carla Rollins, of Washburn; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren,

She received her education at Washburn, graduating from Southwest High School. During the 1960s, she was employed as a secretary for Bob Mitchell at the Cassville Democrat. She had also been activity director for Concordia Care Center for awhile and secretary for the principal at Southwest. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Bob Neeley conducted the services. Burial was at Washburn Prairie Cemetery.
