Ray D. Wallace, 52, of Exeter, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, in Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cassville.

He was born Feb. 20, 1957, in Aurora, the son of Alonzo and Lucindia (Potter) Wallace. On July 1, 2008, he was united in marriage to Janice (Sharp) Grippando, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one daughter, Melissa Lasiter and her husband, Chris, of Mt. Vernon; two stepdaughters, Anita Burch and her husband, Jason, of Galena, and Adella Grippando, of Exeter; one stepson, David Grippando, of Noel; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four sisters, Rose Etta Bowman and her husband, Joe, of Crane, Rose Lee Berry and her husband, James, of Cassville, Joe Retta Smith and her husband, Jim, of Aurora, and Luella Dunbar and her husband, Jerry, of Cassville.

He received his education at Aurora and was a life-long resident of southwest Missouri. He was a member of Carr Lane Full Gospel Church.

Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Brother Terry Bailey conducted the services. Burial was at Union Cemetery, Stella.
