Dorothy Weidner, 93, of Shell Knob, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Racine, Wis., the daughter of William Keller and Elsie (Staaden) Keller. She was united in marriage in 1935, in Racine, Wis., to Kenneth Weidner, who preceded her in death in 1944. She was also preceded in death by one son, one great-granddaughter and one brother.

Survivors include: one son, David Weidner and his wife, Lil, of Sheboygan Falls Wis.; three daughters, Katherine "Kay" Marble and her husband, Kermit, of Shell Knob, Beverly "Bev" Williams and her husband, Ronald, of Shell Knob, and Irene Price and her husband, Jeff, of Brown Deer, Wis.; one sister, Marilyn Lindville, of Albuquerque, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She received her education in Racine, Wis. After the death of her husband, she raised her five children on her own, working for Oster Manufacturing in Milwaukee, Wis., for many years. In 1998, she moved to Shell Knob to be closer to her family. She was a member of the Shell Knob Lioness' and the Shell Knob VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
