Eldine E. (Henry) Hartzmann, 85, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Seligman, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, in Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, Ark.
She was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Willard and Myrnea (Wood) Gifford. On Sept. 7, 1940, she was united in marriage to Walter Clyde Henry, who preceded her in death. Later she married Mel Hartzmann, who also preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Harry Henry and Glenn Henry, one grandson, Glenn Darrell Henry, Jr. and fiancÚ Orville Lewis.
Survivors include: three sons, Lee Henry, of Rogers Ark., Charlie Henry, of Marionville, and Dewain Henry, of Seligman; two daughters, Theresa Haynes, of Seligman, and Sheila Meeker, of Rogers, Ark.; one sister, Ardell Moen, of Port Orchard, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She grew up and received her education in Seligman. In 1970, she moved from Seligman to Rogers, Ark., to make her home. For 20 years, she worked at Tyson's Poultry Plant as an inspector. She then worked 10 years at First Brands, retiring from there in 1992.
Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Wes Wallace conducted the services. Burial was at King Cemetery, Seligman.
