SPECIAL EVENT: The New Life Temple Church of Cassville will hold its fourth annual Christmas bazaar and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

BREAKFAST: American Legion Post 118 will host a veterans breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m.

BLOOD DRIVE: Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Purdy from noon to 3 p.m.

FUNDRAISER: The Southwest High School Project Graduation Committee will hold a Thanksgiving turkey dinner at the high school cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Class of 2010 Project Graduation.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Purdy First Baptist Church congregation will share the contents of a time capsule that was sealed at the church in 1957 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the church's new fellowship hall.

DINNER: The Eagle Rock Community Association will host its 2009 fall harvest dinner at the Eagle Rock Community Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Helping Hands Community Food Pantry in Eagle Rock.
