Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Henderson, 55, of Cassville, passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born Sept. 13, 1954, in Rogers, Ark., the daughter of Leo and Mary Lou (Gallaher) Hanger. On May 3, 1974, in Jenkins, she was united in marriage to Gary Henderson, who survives.
Additional survivors include: her mother, Mary Lou Hanger, of Farmington; one son, Chuck Henderson, of Independence; one daughter, Sara Henderson, of Westwood, Kan.; one brother, John Hanger, of Farmington; and three sisters, Deena Thompson, of De Soto, Sherry Hale, of Poplar Bluff, and Lynne Schmoele, of St. Genevieve.
She was preceded in death by her father Leo Hanger.
She graduated from Ellington High School in 1972. She lived in Jenkins, Exeter and then in 1993 made her home in Cassville. She was currently working at Fasco, where she had been employed for 32 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville, and loved to sing in the choir, spend time in the nursery and take mission trips with the youth. Some of her favorite pastimes were traveling and crocheting baby blankets.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in First Baptist Church, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home. Rev. James Weaver will conduct the services. Burial will be at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.
