Hazel Juanita (Dotson) Childress-Levi, 93, of Papillion, Neb., passed away Oct. 14, 2009, in Papillion, Neb.

She was born May 22, 1916, in Elijah, the daughter of Oscar and Molly (Carter) Dotson. She was united in marriage to George Childress July 26, 1937, he passed away in 1986. She then married Walter Levi in 1988 and he passed away in 1993. She attended the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include; five sons, Glenn Childress, of Yale, Okla., Paul Childress, of Nashville, Tenn., Allen Childress, of Nashville, Tenn., Dan Childress, of St. Cloud, Minn., and Harvey Childress, of Fordland; three daughters, Shirley Hudson, of Olathe, Kan., Bonita Kasparek, of Omaha, Neb., and Barbara Folkner, of Omaha, Neb.; 95 grandchildren; five sisters, Nina Melton, of Springfield, Eula Mae Mills, of Cassville, Lela Foster, of Oak Grove, Glena Cron, of Raytown, and Jean Cogan, of Mesa, Ariz.; and one brother, Ken Dotson, of Cassville.

Funeral services were held Oct. 17, with Robert Day officiating.

Interment was at Arnhart Cemetery, Purdy.

Arrangements were by Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
