JOHN ROSE

John Marshall Rose, 49, of Lansing, Kan., died Oct. 10, 2009, after a long illness.

He was born Dec. 8, 1959, in Monroe, La., the son of the late Polly and Jesse Rose.

Survivors include: two daughters, Shannon Rose, of Hutchinson, Kan., and Kaylee Rose, of St. John, Kan.; three sisters, Nora Young, of Cassville, Polly Heidlage, of Ponca City, Okla., and June Rose, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and one brother, Jesse Rose, of Exeter.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Cassville at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009.
