Bonnie Doris (Patton) Keeton, 76, of Monett, passed away Oct. 19, 2009, at Cox-Monett Hospital.
She was born on April 30, 1933, in Jenkins, the daughter of Charles V. and Clella P. (Stockton) Patton. She was a lifelong resident of Barry County and a graduate of Cassville High School. She was united in marriage to Donald Guy Keeton on Nov. 21, 1974, in Miami, Okla. She was a previous employee of Walmart in Cassville and Monett. They attended John's Chapel in Ash Grove and Blessing Heights in Cassville.
Survivors include: her husband of 35 years, Donald Guy Keeton, of Monett; one son, Michael R. Mooney, and his wife, Marge, of Springfield; one stepson, Donald E. Keeton, and his wife, Leta, of Monett; one stepdaughter, Rachel L. Darter, of Monett; one step-brother, Jack James, of Cassville; one step-sister, Mary Bell McGrath, of Monett; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Lee.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the White Funeral Home in Cassville with Rev. Ron Fieker officiating. Burial will follow at Sparks Cemetery in the Star City Community near Butterfield.
