Leonard Ray Beck, 28, of Purdy, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident near Eureka Springs, Ark.
He was born Aug. 27, 1981, in Bentonville, Ark., the son of Leonard Beck, Jr. and Joyce Ann (Hayworth) Beck, who survive.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Kaleb Ray Beck and his mother, April Kendrick, of Republic, and Kyler Ray Beck and his mother, Kaylee Kissling, of Carthage; two brothers, Larry Beck and his wife, Crystal, of Ozark, and Cody Beck and his wife, Heather, of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Charolotte Beck, of Tulsa, Okla.; and his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Baggett of Seligman.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Ruby Beck, and maternal grandfather, Carl Hayworth.
He received his education at Washburn, where he graduated from high school. He was a self-employed poultry contract loader.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Robert Ward will conduct the services.
There will be no visitation.
His body will be cremated following services.
