PROGRAM: The Cassville Branch Library will host a movie day at 3:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Cassville Senior Center will hold a fish fry at 4:30 pm. and its monthly dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by Roaring River Sound Band.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Purdy Recycling Project will hold its monthly community collection event from 8 to 11 a.m. All area residents are encouraged to participate in the event.

OPEN HOUSE: Lives Under Construction (LUC) Boys Ranch will hold an open house from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy guided tours of the ranch and workshops, a free barbecue lunch and testimonials and skits performed by LUC boys. SPECIAL EVENT: The first annual Tal Wooten Memorial Concert will be held at Jolly Mill Park near Monett at 7 p.m. The event will offer a free band concert, fireworks, food concessions and a drawing.

FUNDRAISER: The Jenkins Fire Department will hold a fish fry at Jenkins Fire Station #1 from 5 to 7 p.m. Local recording artist Corybel Country will provide live entertainment during the meal. An auction will be held at 7 p.m.

SPECIAL EVENT: Seligman will hold its annual Fall Festival at 6 p.m. The event will feature a drawing for a variety of prizes and an assortment of family-oriented entertainment.

AUCTION: The Wheaton High School FFA Booster Club will host an auction and labor auction at the new agriculture building at 7 p.m. Barbecued sandwiches will be served prior to the auctions.
