Florence Mae Sizemore, 80, a resident of Cassville, was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Lafayette, Ill., a daughter of Carl Lee and Marie (Cox) Haptonstall, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, in Cassville.
She was a member of the Rebecca's Club. She worked as a dietician for nursing homes and was a member of the All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard Sizemore, of Cassville, and Kevin Sizemore, of Mount Pulaski, Ill.; five daughters, Sandy and husband, Mike Blank, of Cassville, Barbara and husband, Sam Gray, of McAllen, Texas, Vickie and husband, Scott Skalbeck, of Sacred Heart, Minn., Terri and husband, Bill Clesson, of Bloomington, Ill., and Kathy and husband, John Henry, of Drexal; three brothers, Mike Haptonstall, Carl Lee Haptonstall and Frances Haptonstall; three sisters, Loretta Reynolds, Sherry Bradshaw and Cheryl Haptonstall; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
On Feb. 24, 1946, she was united in marriage with Raymond M. Sizemore who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one son, one grandson and one granddaughter.
Memorial services were held Friday at Corinth Church in Cassville with Pastor James Stewart officiating and at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living Center in Cassville with Pastor Robb Webster officiating.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Nelson Funeral Service, Inc., Berryville, Ark.
