SPECIAL EVENT: Soroptimist International of Barry County will celebrate its 15th anniversary by hosting a fundraising event at the Barry County Museum at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public.

BLOOD DRIVE: The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host a blood drive at Lowe's in Monett from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donors must weight at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and present required identification.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Stella Senior Center will host a fall benefit dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A dance will be held after the meal. Roaring River Sound will provide musical entertainment for the event.

BENEFIT: A fish fry will be held at Cannon and Patty's Tavern in Aurora at 3 p.m. in memory of Rick "Fuzzy" Jenkins.

CONTEST: Haven of the Ozarks will host its annual Ugly Dog Contest during the Shakin' in the Shell Festival in Shell Knob at 11 a.m. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. For more information, call 417-858-2303.

Entertainment will be provided by the Roaring River Theater Group and Third Generation Gospel Group. The church is located one mile north of Highway 86 on Highway J next to the Golden Post Office.
