Frances M. Marshall, 91, of Shell Knob, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, in her home.
She was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Migacz) Mileski. On June 21, 1958, she was united in marriage to Earl Foster, who preceded her in death. She later married James Pinkston, who also preceded her in death. On Dec. 21, 2005, she married Billy Marshall, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one daughter, Josephine V. Hagen and her husband, Ray, of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Rosemary, of McHenry, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Others preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Ronald; and brothers and sisters.
She grew up and received her education in Chicago, Ill., where she graduated from high school. In the 1970s she moved from Chicago to Shell Knob to make her home. For several years she was employed as a cashier for Rima's Grocery Store in Shell Knob. She was a member of Bridgeway Assembly of God Church, Shell Knob, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Lonnie Stockton will conduct the services. Burial will be at Painter Cemetery, Shell Knob.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday in the church.
