Monett residents injured in crash

A pair of Monett residents sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Business 37 and 17th Street in Cassville on Monday. According to the Cassville Police Department, the crash occurred when a 2006 Ford F350 van, driven by Ira Brookes, of Cassville, turned in front of a 2007 Chevy HHR, driven by Kamilla Willis, of Monett. Willis and her passenger, Connie Christen, of Monett, were taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital-Cassville. Brookes, Willis and Christen were all wearing seat belts when the crash occurred at 5 p.m. Democrat Photo

With the way people drive around there it is surprising that there are not more accidents.. People need to be more repectful and not drive so fast.
