Vermo Roy, 87, of Joplin, formerly of Exeter, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, in Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Exeter First Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday in Martha Cemetery, Martha, Okla., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
