Bruce Lee Creel, 66, of Exeter, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009, in his home.
He was born May 25, 1943, in Zion, Ark., the son of Orvis "O.L." and Zella Mae (Baker) Creel. On Aug. 9, 1990, in Miami, Okla., he was united in marriage to Donna L. Brown, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two daughters, Terri Martin and her husband, Galen, of Seligman, and Lori Cooper and her husband, Eddie, of Garfield, Ark.; one brother, Orvis V. Creel and his wife, Amy, of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Brenda Prentice and her husband, Brian, of Mountainburg, Ark.; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He received his education in Mayfield, Ark. He moved from Rogers, Ark., to Exeter 19 years ago to make his home. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Cassville.
Memorial services were held Saturday at Corinth Baptist Church, Cassville. Pastor James Stewart conducted the services. Burial will be at a later date in Corinth Cemetery, Cassville.
Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville
