DAVID ROBERT LINDSAY

David Robert Lindsay, 64, of Cassville, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1945, in Binghamton, N.Y., to Ray and Evelyn (Karlson) Lindsay. He grew up and attended school in New York and Bakersfield, Calif. Later he joined the United States Army and retired after 25 years. He was a decorated veteran serving three tours of duty as a sniper in Vietnam. In 1993, he married Lucille Wall in Las Vegas, Nev. They moved to the Cassville area 14 years ago from Texas to make their home.

Survivors include: his wife, Lucille Lindsay, of Cassville; his mother, Evelyn Lindsay, of Bakersfield, Calif.; one son, David Lindsay, of Bakersfield, Calif.; three daughters, Lisa Barraza, Kristy Dagostino, Jennifer Fletcher, all of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Tom Lindsay, of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Judy Bell, of Casper, Wyo., Evelyn Maxwell and Mary Jane Ambrosini, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; and several grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rose Mary Lindsay.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home in Cassville.
