Pelina "Coleen" Sinn, 67, of Butterfield, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in Cassville, at her daughter's home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Fairview, Okla., the daughter of LeRoy and Virgi (Wells) Austin. She was united in marriage to Delbert Franklin Allen and to this union three children were born. She later married William Sinn, who preceded her in death and was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Wilma Wilson and one brother, Vernon Austin.
Survivors in her first husband; two sons, Jim Allen, of Butterfield, and Steven Sinn and his wife, Debbie, of Priest River, Idaho; four daughters, Audrey Spegal and her husband, Matt, of Priest River, Idaho, Laura Tucker and her husband, Terry, of Cassville, RussAnn Schultz and her husband, Bob, of Colville, Wash., and Terri Lynn Taylor and her husband, David, of Iona, Wash,; one sister, Jean Barkley of Miles City, Mont.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She received her education in Ephrata, Wash., where she graduated from high school then attended two years of college. In 2005, she moved from Washington State to Butterfield to make her home. She was a certified medical assistant and worked at the Arc of the Ozarks.
Graveside services were held today (Wednesday) at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Chaplain Jack Betts conducted the services.
