Preparing for a new sidewalk for students

Democrat Photo Barry Electric crews have been busy this week relocating electric poles along Highway Y to accommodate space for a new sidewalk that will be constructed between the Cassville middle school and high school campuses this summer. The project is a cooperative venture involving the City of Cassville, the Cassville R-IV School District and the Missouri Department of Transportation. The city received a Safe Routes to School grant that will cover the costs of constructing the sidewalk that will improve safety along the route for students walking to and from school.
