HOWARD W. HIXON

Howard W. Hixon, 79, Neosho, formerly of Wheaton, died Sunday, May 25, 2009, at Landmark Hospital in Joplin. He was born June 19, 1929, in Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean Conflict and worked as a supervisor in steel manufacturing.

Survivors include: his wife, Margaret, of the home; four children, Howard L. Hixon, Springfield, Harold E. Hixon, state of Ohio, Patricia Weatherman, Neosho, and Kathleen Fogler, Grove, Okla.; five grandchildren; one brother and four sisters. Services were held Saturday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Following services, the body was taken for cremation.

Arrangements were under direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
