CLARA GUDE

Clara Gude, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Virginia Beach, Va. She was born Feb. 4, 1933, to Frank and Clara Greenrod on a farm near Avoca, Neb. She lived her early years and graduated from high school in Nebraska City, Neb. On Sept. 10, 1955, she married Donald E. Gude.

Clara and Don moved to Cassville in 1985 after living 20 years in Storm Lake, Iowa. they moved to Virginia Beach in December 2001 to be near their daughter.

A memorial service was held today (Wednesday) at Twiford Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Va.

Survivors include: her children, Rhonda O'Bannon and husband, David, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Donald Jr., of Arnolds Park, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
